Obituary for Chloe Laura Anderson
Anderson, Chloe Laura, 72, of Pine Grove, died May 20, 2013, at United Hospital in Clarksburg, WV.
Chloe was born August 15, 1940, in New Orleans, LA, daughter of the late Andrew Joseph and Dorothy Moran Prechtl.
She was a homemaker, member of the Pine Grove American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Joseph Prechtl Jr.; and grandson, George Allen Anderson III.
Surviving are her son, George Allen (Donna) Anderson, Jr. of Port Haywood, Va.; two daughters, Connie (Gordon) Curry of Wind Ridge, Pa., and Cshawn (Donnie) Smith of Reader; three grandchildren, Ondrea (Doug) Craft, Kara Curry, and "Trey" Donald Smith III; and sister, Andrea (Luke) Hebert of Tennessee.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, where service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 with Rev. John P. McDonough and Pastor Leary VanHorn co-officiating.
Interment in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Chloe's name, to the Pine Grove American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
