Owens, Eleanor E., 81, of Pine Grove, WV formerly of Madison, IN died Saturday, September 03, 2011 at home.

Eleanor was born September 15, 1929 in Madison, IN daughter of the late Frank and Edith Lorene Ross Clarkson.

She was a retired cook for Hanover College and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Madison, IN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Jo; three brothers, Tony, Floyd and Jack and three sisters, Frances, Alma and Edith and son-in-law, “P.J.” Fox and step-father, Ray Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Kathy) Owens of Deputy, IN and Edward Owens of Pine Grove, WV; two daughters, Debbie (Ron) Morgan and Donna Fox both of Pine Grove, WV; three sisters, Betty Shelly, Marcella (John) Ralston and Wilma Austin of all Madison, IN; nine grandchildren, Carla, Corey, “D.J.”, Ronald “Little Man”, John, Brandi, Rhonda, Michelle and Chad and several great grandchildren.

Friends received 4 – 8 Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove. Then Eleanor will be taken to the Lytle Funeral Chapel in Madison, IN where she will have visitation and funeral services on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
