Obituary for Charlotte A. Shepherd (Headley)
Shepherd, Charlotte Ann, 58, of Piney, WV died Monday, May 12, 2014 at her home after a long illness.
Charlotte was born April 6, 1956 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Encil and Hattie Kester Headley.
She was a homemaker, loved collecting snowmen and birdhouses and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, a sister, Alice Shepherd preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband of forty years, Dave Shepherd; two daughters, Christina Ann Shepherd at home and Susan (Chris) Buskirk of Parkersburg, WV; four brothers, "Sonny" Encil (Glenda) Headley, Jr. of Indian Creek, Ernest (Kathy) Headley of Sistersville, WV, Everett Phillip (Sandra) Headley of Indian Creek, WV and Gary Headley of Braden, WV; sister, Celousie (Bernard) Dailey of Braden, WV and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove, WV where services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 with Greg Morris officiating.
Interment in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial contributions be made to Williams Funeral Home, PO Box 336, Pine Grove, WV 26419.
