Obituary for Faye Ann Swiger

Swiger, Faye Ann, 67, of Smithfield, WV died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her home while surrounded by her family.

Faye was born on April 24, 1947 in Wetzel County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Opal Blanche Tanner Lasure .

She was a homemaker, loved going to church, gardening, canning and raising flowers and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in New Martinsville, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dave Lasure, Sandy Hickman and Doris Varner.

Surviving are two sons, "Sonny" Swiger and Clark Floyd of Smithfield, WV; four daughters, Loretta (Charlie) Roberts of Pine Grove, WV, Lisa (Pete Davis) Watson of Folsom, WV, Tammy (Chuck) Sockey and Roxanne (John) McGee both of Smithfield, WV; four sisters, Peggy (Sam) Butterworth and Iva Webb both of Idaho, Sharon (Rex) Hickman of Jacksonburg, WV and Cathy (Gary) Highley of North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014.

Interment to following the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
