Obituary for Hilda McCain
McCain, Hilda, 85, of New Martinsville, WV died Saturday, November 1, 2014 while a resident of Genesis New Martinsville.
Hilda was born January 15, 1929 in Moundsville, WV, daughter of the late Leslie H. and Sadie Nolan McCain.
She was a homemaker, loved her Pepsi and attended First Christian Church in Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Louella Westlund, Jessie Mercer, Birdie Fooce, Lloyd McCain, Dorothy Hall, Gertrude McCain, Otis McCain, Laura Motry and George "Bill" McCain.
Surviving are sister, Helen Gatts of Oak Island, NC; sister-in-law, June McCain of Moundsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, WV.
Graveside service will be held 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Graysville Cemetery with Pastor Dr. Victor Hunter officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Hilda' name, to the Wetzel County Hospital Fund, Community Foundation Ohio Valley, 1310 Market Street Suite 1, Wheeling, WV 26003.
