Obituary for Crystal Kay Thacker
Thacker, Crystal K., 53, of Weirton, WV formerly of Pine Grove, WV died suddenly September 4, 2015 at her home.
Crystal was born October 11, 1961 in Barnesville, OH daughter of Dorothy (Gary) Ebert of New Martinsville, WV and the late John Snodgrass.
She was a homemaker, member of Valley High School Class of 1979, loved to crochet and working crossword puzzles and was a huge Steelers and Beatles fan.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Wilma Beagle.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Joshua (Tina) Bates of Reader and Edward “Eddie” Bates of Jacksonburg, WV; brother John (Beth) Snodgrass, Jr. of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Robin (Tim) Monahan of Paden City, WV; three grandchildren, Rachel, Charity, and Davyd; special neighbors, Phil (Diane) France of Weirton, WV; special feline and canine companions, Winston and Pixie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where service will be held at Noon on Friday, September 11, 2015 with JR Richards officiating.
Interment to follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to be made to Williams Funeral Home, PO Box 336, Pine Grove, WV 26419.
