Franklin D. "Frank"  Tennant
Franklin “Frank” D. Tennant, 76, of Reader, WV went home on Wednesday, August 02, 2017 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Frank was born August 13, 1940 in Reader, WV, son of the late Charles and Goldie (Myers) Tennant.

A member of the Reader Church of Christ, he was a retired crane operator worker for Mobay, he enjoyed bike riding and motorcycles, appreciated cars and loved reading books.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wm. “Willie” Tennant and Joe Tennant; brother-in-law, Boyd King.

Surviving are his wife of forty-three years, Marlene Tennant; two sons, Jim (Wendy) Tennant and Brent (Missy) Whipkey both of Reader, WV; daughter, Bonnie Byard of New Martinsville, WV; brother, James C (Corinna) Tennant of Reader, WV; seven sisters, Daisy (Wally) Kendall, Martha (Pat) Glasscock both of Reader, WV, Mary King of Hepzibah, WV, Sue Bell of Bridgeport, WV, Blanche (Dick) Ferrell of Elk Fork, WV, Clara (Roy) Eastham and Lou (Bob) Shreve both of Reader, WV; four grandchildren, Marleah, Brandon, Timothy and Jeremy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Frank’s request a private service will be held for family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made, in Frank’s name, to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
