Joann Hornbeck, 67, of Reader, WV died Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home while surrounded by her family.

Joann was born April 29, 1950 in Pine Grove, WV, daughter of the late Robert Likens and Sara Mae Powell.

She was a retired aide for Wetzel County Schools, she loved to quilt, crochet and reading and a Methodist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carol Sue Harrison; first husband, Francis Harrison; two brothers, Bill Likens and Larry Likens.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-two years, Albert D. Hornbeck; son, Joseph Neil Harrison of Smithfield, WV; daughter, Crysty Lou (Tom) McGraw of New Martinsville, WV; three step-children, Donzel (Becky) Hornbeck and Darrell (Shelly) Hornbeck both of Reader, WV and Paula (Keith) Gump of Coburn, WV; two brothers, Terry (Wendy) Likens of Antioch, OH and Carey Likens of North Carolina; two sisters, Ruth (Ron) Hixenbaugh of Minerva, OH and Candace Harrison of Smithfield, WV; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received noon to 2 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017.

Burial to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
